Looking for a laptop-friendly café in Shoreditch? Kybelle is remote-work friendly — here's what makes a good working café day.
Shoreditch runs on freelancers, founders and hybrid workers — and everyone has an opinion on which cafés actually welcome laptops. At Kybelle, we're upfront about it: we're remote-work friendly. Bring the laptop.
The working setup
We're at 62 Great Eastern Street, two minutes from Old Street station — which puts us on the doorstep of the Old Street tech cluster without the queue-out-the-door chaos of the bigger chains. Settle in with a flat white (our beans are roasted by Ozone Coffee) and work through the morning.
Fuel properly
The advantage of working from a brunch café: real food when you need it. Break for çılbır Turkish eggs or an Avocado'Croast', or keep it light with a salad bowl at lunch. The matcha range (with PerfectTed) covers the afternoon slump better than a fourth espresso.
Hours that suit deep work
Open from 8am on weekdays — early enough to beat inbox o'clock — until 4pm, and 9am–5pm on weekends. Walk-ins only, so just turn up. Dogs welcome too, if your coworker has four legs. See the menu and directions.
