Is Kybelle halal?
Our Mediterranean Breakfast is halal, and much of our menu is meat-free (çılbır Turkish eggs, shakshuka, vegetarian breakfast, falafel wrap). Options vary by dish, so please ask our team when you visit — they'll walk you through what suits your requirements.
Do I need to book a table?
No — Kybelle is walk-ins only. Just turn up. Weekday mornings are quietest; weekends have the full brunch buzz.
What are your opening hours?
Monday to Friday 8:00am–4:00pm, Saturday and Sunday 9:00am–5:00pm.
Where is Kybelle? What's the nearest station?
We're at 62 Great Eastern Street, Shoreditch, London EC2A 3QR. Old Street station is about a two-minute walk; Shoreditch High Street and Liverpool Street are also close.
Is Kybelle dog friendly?
Yes — dogs are very welcome. They're part of our family.
Do you have vegan, vegetarian or gluten-free options?
Yes. Vegan: Mother on Earth (mushrooms, spinach, roasted peppers and vegan cream cheese on toast) and vegan shakshuka. Vegetarian: the Vegetarian Breakfast, çılbır eggs, Eggs Florentine and more. Gluten-free options are available — ask our team.
What is çılbır (Turkish eggs)?
Çılbır is a traditional Turkish dish of poached eggs on creamy garlic yoghurt with warm chilli butter. Ours comes with sautéed baby spinach and toasted sourdough — add beef sujuk or grilled halloumi.
Can I work on my laptop at Kybelle?
Yes — we're remote-work friendly. Settle in with a coffee and stay a while.
Do you do takeaway or delivery?
Yes to both: takeaway from the café, and delivery via Deliveroo.
What coffee do you serve?
Specialty coffee made with beans roasted by Ozone Coffee Roasters. We also serve a matcha range with PerfectTed (including strawberry, mango and white chocolate matcha) and teas from Nemi.
Do you serve breakfast all day?
Yes — breakfast, brunch and lunch are served all day, every day we're open.
Do you have a kids menu?
Yes: the Kids Fry Up (egg, bacon, beans, hash brown) and Kids Veggie (egg, avocado, mushroom, cherry tomato).
