Where to Find a Proper Turkish Breakfast in Shoreditch

London's Turkish breakfast scene is thriving, but most of it lives in north and east residential neighbourhoods. If you're in Shoreditch — near Old Street, Liverpool Street or Shoreditch High Street — Kybelle brings those flavours to 62 Great Eastern Street.

What's on a Turkish-inspired breakfast at Kybelle

Our Mediterranean Breakfast is the plate to start with: crisp filo pastry, a freshly cooked egg and grilled halloumi with spicy sujuk, olives, sautéed mushrooms and blistered cherry tomatoes, finished with honey and clotted cream — the classic Turkish pairing — and artisan bread. It's halal-friendly.

Then there's çılbır (Turkish eggs on garlic yoghurt with chilli butter) and our shakshuka, slow-cooked tomatoes, aubergine and red peppers with poached eggs.

When to come

We're open Monday to Friday 8am–4pm and weekends 9am–5pm — walk-ins only, so no booking needed. Weekday mornings are the calmest if you want a quiet start; weekends have the full brunch buzz.
